Reasons as to why this is timely.

1. The current growth of recreational pursuits in general in society.
2. The growth of hunting and fishing as hobbies.
3. The “deer camp” type relationships that can be built through pursuit of these avocations which foster the purposes of evangelism and discipleship.
4. The evident blessing of God upon many ministries that have the same purpose, but are using slightly different emphases with the same purpose.
5. Christ himself used many different means for the goal of evangelism.

What is SkyQuest Outdoors?

A Vision

Provide hunting and fishing events which encourage people to bring their friends to meet the Lord in the atmosphere of the outdoors.

Provide a lodge and a retreat center for evangelism and discipleship.


A Ministry

SkyQuest is not about money, but about ministry.  Though we are no registered as a Not for Profit Corporation, that is what we are in purpose. Ministry, not money, is our focus.  We have arrangements made that will allow gifts for specific ministries that we do to be considered as charitable giving through Faith Community Foundation.
